Voltage Control 3.2 - VCPatch 3.0
.
.
ATTENTION: Don't use that software on systems with OS 3.1 or higher!!! I am working on an update for the current OS.

.
VoltageControl is a hack (you need HackMaster) that displays a tiny battery symbol in all apps. Additionally, for WIN95 and NT users, you can customize VoltageControl with the desktop app VCPatch. I don't want to repeat all details here on the page, just take a look at readme in the zip.

You might need to install the VB 5.0 runtime system if it's not already installed on your system. Just try out VCPatch first without installing VB5RUNT, no catastrophies will happen, just an 'unexpected error' message or a 'missing MSVBVM50.DLL message. Then you still can run the installer. It's never wrong to handle MS drivers with care, especially regarding double installations etc. :).
.
.
Download VB5 Runtime System  (~1.3MB)
.
unzip it, and run the VB5RUNT.EXE
.
NOTE: I'm no Linux user, but appearantly VCPatch runs in Win emulators under Linux, just install the VB5 runtime system.

Read here how it works, get the patch instructions
(or download the 'link', it's a pure ASCII file)

No, you don't have to if you either use Windows or MacOS. The Win95/98 version comes from me. Note, it's not tested on Win2000, but it's a very straight forward app coded with VB5. I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

... while the MacOS version was done by Max Edelmann.
You can get the latest version directly from.Max's site..Unfortunately I never had a chance.to look at it myself, I don't own a.Mac.
